We love Florida and often spend our vacations and travels in the Sunshine State every year. We also love the sun and warmth that the climate always shares with us. We also love to be on the road discovering new areas and locations or to rediscover well-known. Sometimes there is the special moment or situation that sticks in our minds when we've been on side routes and narrow streets having discovered lonely places or met and talked to interesting people.
Where ever we’ve been, we've met lovely and communicative people. We talked, got hints and recommendations and always a smile.

The Farmer’s Markets in Cape Coral

Cape Coral has three Farmer’s Markets on different days and locations. We use to go every Saturday morning to visit the Cape Coral Farmer’s Market on SE 47th Terrace opening at 8 am. This market is always overflowing with fresh, local and healthy produce, fruits and foods, along with melt-in-your-mouth baked goods, made-on-site guacamole, salsas, homemade jams & jellies, pickles & olive mixes, cheeses, take home foods, flowers, plants, crafts or art. The whole market is a folk festival and totally different to the weekly food markets you might have seen.
Live bands, singers, artists and food trucks always spread a good mood. Visitors are talking, some are dancing to the music, some are just listening and watching, some are accompanied by their quite uncommon pets. The similarities of the three markets are many, including many of the same vendors always there to help you with a friendly smile.
The Surfside Sunshine Market (2354 Surfside Blvd.) opens every Tuesday, the Mid-Cape Farmer’s Market opens Sundays on 125 SW 3rd Place.
